Set up the modem with antenna, power and LAN 1 connection to the computer. |

Make sure the switch at the right side of the modem is turn to the router mode. |

Switch on the modem power at the back. |

Make sure the red light on for power, green light for the LAN1 and orange blinking light for WiMAX.. |

Open Internet Explorer (or other compatible browsers) and key in 192.168.1.1 at the address bar on top. |

|
Key in User name as admin and Password as admin and click OK. |
| |

This will lead you to Wimax Gateway page. |
| |

Click on IP Address option; change the domain name to wimax.amax.my and click Apply.
*For RM 388 Soho Package, the domain name is @biz.amax.my. |

Click on Settings option and follow the screen below, enable PKM, change the identity to your user ID followed by @wimax.amax.my. Change the password; change the anonymous identity to user ID followed by @wimax.amax.my. Follow the DM Command Setup as below.
* For RM 388 Soho Package both Identity and Anonymous Identity will be followed by @biz.amax.my |

Click on Status option and you are able to see whether this modem is online. If the Current Status is AWAKE, you are able to go online. RF Information indicates the quality of the signal; the signal is good when the CINR is between 15 to 22. The signal is poor when CINR 10 or below. |
